Ausbrooks, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the University of Texas at Arlington, earned her bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees from the University of North Texas. With over 23 years experience in education, Ausbrooks has worked for Fort Worth ISD, UNT Center for the Study of Education Reform, and the University of North Texas. Ausbrooks specializes in education law, school choice, and educational policy and leadership. She serves on numerous professional organizations including Education Law Association, American Educational Research Association, Southwest Educational Research Association, Phi Delta Kappa, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and the Intercultural Development Research Association.
